Ready to Finish In Last Place?

After I got past the fact that they actually added a song tilted ” Lol :-) ” , I started to listen to the album in it’s entirety. With all the remakes and remixes of songs Trey has done in the past few months he has built up an arsenal unmatched by many other artist. The problem I have drawn from his album Ready is it falls short of an actual album. It plays more as a culmination of tracks put together by some unknown DJ trying to make a name for himself. He thought he was going to win the fight but he got knocked out in the fifth round.

This one of those songs that’s was kind of overshadowed by the bigger more promoted songs. Regardless though this is my favorite Maroon5 song. These guys make consistently make better than great music. So seeing as it is Sunday morning where I am I decided to post this song.

There are so many great artist that don’t get the recognition they deserve. If you don’t know this artist he goes by the name of Consequence. You’ve probably heard him before rapping along side Kanye West on songs such as “Gone”, “Spaceship”, “Whatever You Want”, and “The Good The Bad & The Ugly.

Being from the DMV I have known about Wale for a while now. Well, he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves. “Charlene” to Sleep

It’s late at night and you need something a little less upbeat to lay your head to. Some singers voices just come of to strong, but no Anthony Hamilton he has a voice similar to no others. So rest you head to this classic. Why count cows when music is so much more relaxing?

Drake-Forever

Forever is an old Drake track that previously only featured Lil’ Wayne. Well, that’s old and this is new. Drake and Wayne both throw in new verse that I promise will please the mases. It doesn’t stop there though. Kanye comes through with a verse that was almost unexpected to be so good. Even more surprising though is Slim Shadys verse that to my astonishment actually compliments Drake, Wayne, and Ye’s verses. This song is to be featured on LebronsĀ  upcoming documentary. You can purchase it on Itunes as you see above.

“One Call Away”

This song came out a few years back. It was the second or third single of Chingy’s Jackpot album. Don’t act like you didn’t want to spend at least one night in the Holiday Inn after seeing that music video. My thoughts are this; Chingy should of never left DTP maybe than he would still be relevant in the ever changing hip-hop world. oh well.

I’m still undecided on whether or not I like this cover it’s kind of stale. I mean, it looks like they took Godzilla out of the photo and added him. I have to admit I am eager to here his BP3 though. Am I the only one that misses the old Jay-Z? The Reasonable Doubt guy.
