There are plenty of artist in D.C.. But no one cares, so Wale is our voice. Carrying your hometown, which is also the Nations capital, is a hefty task in it self. An even more difficult task is being rapper in an era where no one knows bad from good. Now, we can talk Attention Deficit or better yet, Wale, the Trumpet in a band that has yet to find its tune. Even if Wale is the best artist in the so-called “rookie class” , he’s not Drake the beautiful Saxophone (everyone loves the Saxophone).  So, he’s already at an unfair disadvantage, but nobody is making excuses. Attention Deficit sure is loud though and sounding better and better. Not to mention, Wale has been taking private lessons from the likes of, Mark Ronson, Pharrell, and Best Kept Secret. Common- Break My Heart

Two great songs that I couldn’t help but to post. Common is the perfect rapper for any old school sample and Kanye paired him with yet another great one. Although this song may have not been the radio hit others where, it stood out to me amongst the others song. It may have been George Duke’s smooth, soothing, voice that has subsisted in my mind, but that is  just a thought.

I love this song, but this video is horrible man.

It’s funny how fast an individual can shoot to stardom and fall off that star in such little time. Nobody forgot about Andy Milonakis, but  nobody cares to remember him.  I think he went wrong when people found out he was a grown man acting as whatever he was trying to be. smh.

Wale gets more love from the paper than the radio around here. smh.
